I read the story of “Chicken’s derring do on 82” in The Dispatch written by Abigail Sipe Rochester. I am overwhelmed! As I read it, I couldn’t believe that this thing happened in our city! In fact, this is a story that should go around the country. I would appreciate it if I knew the follow up story of how long 82 survives. I feel like I should not eat chicken anymore.
This chicken would have been slaughtered long back but it is still surviving after having treatment by an experienced veterinarian, Dr. Lindsey Pierce, who has taken back her home. Great job.
Humans are shooting other humans with no reason and killing each other with no sympathy or kindness, then this 82 received human care! More news like this is necessary to make people better humans.
