I find myself objecting to the editor’s fact-checking Lee Roy Lollar’s letter. The vote count, both popular and Electoral, are in the past and no longer matter. What does matter is that Mr. Lollar refers to President Trump. This is THE DONALD! Of course his margin of victory is the largest in history, just as his crowds at rallies were the largest in history, far out-stripping Barack Obama, and even Adolf Hitler. Of course our economy was the most robust ever under his brilliant business eye. (Those five bankruptcies were just master tactics for making the suckers and losers who invested in his schemes lose their money while he kept the investment cash – brilliant!)
I firmly believe President Trump is the best 78-year-old golfer in the world, maybe ever. If I were privy to the conversations on the links, I am sure that I would learn that President Trump was the most successful Lothario ever (he is famous enough, after all).
However, because, in my wandering days, I slept in many a Motel Six, I can see that Mr. Lollar’s wisdom about liberal Democrats could have used a few more nights in a Holiday Inn Express. We “pigs” are indeed squealing. We can see that the chute leads only to the butcher. With those few more nights, Mr. Lollar might have realized that we are all pigs together.
