I slept at a Holiday Inn Express once or twice so that makes me an expert on many things and some knowledge of all things. With these credentials I would like to expound on the political landscape of today.
DOGE is the word of today. President Trump was elected to “drain the swamp,” stop government waste, streamline government, secure the border and bring back patriotism to this country. So much has been accomplished to this end, in his first mouth, that it makes one’s head spin.
The biggest obstacle to accomplishing this is the liberal Democrats, most of which have been feeding themselves off the backs of the tax payer for ever. Most have never had a real job, made a payroll or paid for their health insurance. Trump is cutting the pork and the “pigs” are squealing. Most citizens are shocked over the number of federal employees working from home. A lot of federal workers can not tell five things they accomplished yesterday. No wonder we are $36 trillion in debt and counting. That is $106,131 for every person today, February 25, 2025. The “pigs” are squealing and the cuts for the biggest part have not gone into effect. It might be tough for a while but America cannot continue the path we’re on financially.
Most of the ones screaming the loudest, are shouting, “the cuts are just going to benefit the billionaires.” How many of those politicians complaining have become millionaires in office feeding out of the trough in D.C.? Every day is a new day of cuts and the firing of some of the incompetent bureaucrats that have put us in such debts.
For those who want to divide us are the same ones that called the Trump supporters deplorables, Zionist, racist and Walmart shoppers. I have one question: “Who won the election by the largest margin in history?” Who is going to be indicted next?
The Trump Train is rolling on!
God Bless America!

Publisher’s note: I always appreciate Mr. Lollar’s letters but some fact checking is in order here. President Trump’s 2024 victory was not the largest margin victory in either popular vote or electoral vote. He won 2024 with a 1.5% popular vote victory margin. Recent presidents who have exceeded Trump’s margin of victory include Reagan (both terms), Bush I, Clinton (both terms), Bush II (one term), Obama (both terms). Joe Biden also won by a larger percentage of the popular vote margin.
