An acquaintance of mine has custody of his three children – a girl, another girl and a boy. All three attend Franklin Elementary School. The eldest is in the fourth grade; the middle is in the third; and the youngest is in the first.
Next school year, Franklin will not be open. The three siblings will be dispersed to as many schools. The eldest will attend Hunt. The middle will attend Joe Cook. The youngest will attend Sale.
A friend of the father urged him to move to the county to avoid this absurdity. I wonder how many other families will do likewise.
