Neologisms (new words) are tricky. A new word can seem useful but have no social staying power. It can outrage the pedantry of the language conservatives. The most common fate of a neologism is to be relegated to slang. Occasionally, a new word appears that seems inevitable. MAGAlomaniac seems to me such a new word. It captures an attribute that is hugely important to the entire U.S. population. Its only failure is that it does not incorporate any sense of narcissism.
