I still think my idea of changing the name of my alma mater, Mississippi University for Women, to Welty University is the best alternative for the expression of student body inclusion, accommodations and future growth. I mean, it just sounds like some academic citadel par excellence, doesn’t it? Moreover, to go a step further, why don’t we look at a new moniker: “The Fighting Suffragettes”!
