Recently, your Mayor Gaskin spoke to the Midtown Memphis Rotary Club. Well, actually it was Mayor Gaskin and his puppet sidekick, Mayor Possum. Good news, bad news. The good news was Mayor Gaskin told us a lot of good things about Columbus, its accomplishments and why it is among the more progressive cities in Mississippi. The bad news is I am afraid that his talk was so well received that some of our members might be considering relocating. Not good for our membership numbers. Anyway, the Mayor painted a favorable picture of Columbus. He is an asset for your city.
