Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s famous “I Have a Dream” speech was delivered on August 28, 1963, during the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom. This was his most famous and enduring quote:
“I have a dream that one day my four little children will live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.”
We will celebrate victory over adversity instead of victimhood and diversity. Only you can determine your future which cannot be defined by your past or anyone else’s. We are at a crossroads in the city of Columbus, Mississippi, The Friendly City, and it is up to us to decide where do we want to go from here on June 3 in the upcoming city elections
