My Facebook feed has recently shown me house cats attacking bears which had jumped fences into the cats’ yards. The ten-pound cats attacked the 400-pound bears and drove them back over the fences. That these videos are appearing now leads me to see this as a metaphor for our current political backyard. We are the house cat. Trump is the bear. With enough courage, energy, and determination, we can drive Trump back over our backyard fence.
There was a reason that Pharaonic Egyptians made the house cat a god.
