Senator Elizabeth Warren has got it exactly right, and we should heed her warning against getting bogged down in another forever war like Afghanistan and Iraq! Let’s not forget that this war was started inexplicably by Donald Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu while they were at the negotiating table with Iran trying to hammer out a compromise solution about the disarming of Iran of nuclear weapons and the propensity for storing high-grade uranium to build nuclear weapons at their underground nuclear facilities. No ally was consulted, no member of Congress was willing to go on the record, nor was the American public invited to weigh in before the bombs started falling!! What was the purpose, why now, and what is the end game?? There is literally no plausible reason for them to take such drastic military action at the eleventh hour other than a media distraction away from the Epstein files and a failing economy. Those are my guesses, since he is a master of distraction. We were told time and time again that the prices of groceries were coming down and that he would end these forever wars once and for all for future generations. Quite to the contrary, he has escalated conflicts around the globe. Eggs, other groceries and gas are still going through the roof, and there is less global stability now than at any time in our history. Already, American casualties are beginning to mount each and every day Trump’s war wages on. Now that he’s beginning to see that he’s in way too deep and there is no exit strategy in Iran, it’s time to bring the boys home!!!! We can’t afford to lose any more American lives on a calculated gamble that backfired. There was no preplanning or a contingency plan for the Strait of Hormuz, and not one of our allies, who were not consulted beforehand, wants to jump into this messy quagmire now‼️ We are now spending over $1 billion a day on this war, and our stockpiles are being depleted to help Ukraine, and our troop morale is waning to the point of no return, so it’s time to put the genie back in the bottle and bring the boys home.
