I am starting my writing with relevant lines from Indian poet and actor Sabyasachi Chowdhury:
So much anger, hatred.
What is the use of arrogance?
I am here today, this is the truth, there is no hope for the future.
But if I don’t love, then why so much hatred?
A lot has happened, now let the commotion stop.
Let love be given. Let hatred go away.
According to Hinduism, this is a hatred era. Thus, we see everywhere in the world the prevalence of hatred. Israel, Iran, the terrorist group of Palestine, Hamas, and terrorist group of Pakistan have spread hatred in different parts of the world. However, the wind of this hatred has not reached many other countries. Those countries have their own made-in hatred situation.
In my native country, people have forgotten that there is hope for the future. It is as if the country has gone back to primitive times. Murders have spread everywhere due to intense hatred.
Death in present-day Bangladesh is a largely worthless death – nothing more than a number. I believe that most people in Bangladesh cannot sleep peacefully. Not even those in power now. So, what kind of fascism-free Bangladesh is there?
Love is a widely used romantic word worldwide. Obviously, it is one of the most used words in the English language and is also widely used in some other languages.
While visiting Philadelphia, we went to see the “Love” sculpture near the City Hall.
Philadelphia is not only famous for the Love sculpture, but it is also a historical city. You can see a lot and you can enjoy your time. You can go to the Museum of Art, or go to the Franklin Institute, Liberty Bell, Independence Hall and many more. There will be both good and bad in history, so it is not about destruction. It must be protected.
Although we use the word love in human relationships, Rabindranath Tagore also used it in the relationship between humans and God. He said, “True love is an endless mystery that lies at the root of creation, the ultimate truth.” He believed that love is the highest quality of a person and that it is the source of true joy in life. If you read his poems or listen to his songs, you will find that he is asking you to bow to God with love or you can even think of your lover.
According to the Hindu epic, Mahabharata, long ago, Lord Krishna (considered an avatar of Hinduism) said, “To love without conditions, to speak without purpose, to give without reason, to care without expectation, this is the spirit of true love.” Tagore also believed and reiterated that the essence of love is to give, not to take.
According to the holy book of Islam, the Quran, everyone must be respected for their God-given human dignity, regardless of their faith, race, ethnic origin, gender or social status. And do not abuse those they call upon besides Allah, lest they insult Allah out of ignorance, out of enmity.
Similarly in short, in the holy book of Bible, God calls us to rise above hate and embrace love.
I find both politics and religions are the root cause of hatred. People still fight each other based on political belief as well as religious belief.
