BROOKSVILLE — TL “Bae Lee” Bush, 87, died Oct. 10, 2024, at Noxubee County Nursing Home.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Macon, with Jack Vaughn officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation is from 1-5 p.m. Friday, at Lee-Sykes Funeral Home Chapel. Lee-Sykes Funeral Home of Macon is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Bush was born Jan. 9, 1937, in Macon, to the late Tommie and Mattie Bush. He was formerly employed as a welder.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter; and siblings, Charlie and Johnny Bush, Octavia Koger, and Elonra Rice.
He is survived by his wife, Murnasie Bush of Columbus; children, Caleb Bush of Brooksville, John H. Bush and Elizabeth Maury of Athens, Alabama, and Jacqueline Renett Lowe of Columbus; sister, Bernice Odneal of Macon; nine grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Isreal Doss, McAuther Chandler, Wayne Rice, Rapheal Rice, Willie C. Rice, and Nelson Koger.
