ETHELSVILLE, Ala. — Rosie Lee Jones, 75, died Jan. 22, 2010, at Reform Nursing Home. Services are Saturday at 11 a.m. at 15th Street Church of God In Christ with Elder Marion Bonner officiating. Burial will follow in Stawbridge Cemetery. Visitation is today from 3-8 p.m. at Carter’s Funeral Services of Columbus. Mrs. Jones was born July 2, 1934, in Chilton County to the late Robert Edward Gordon and Grance Ann Gordon. She was a former member of Shelter Love Church of God and served on the Missionary. Later she joined 15th Street and served as president of Missionary Society and choir. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Harvill. She is survived by her children, Joyce Pruitt, of Ethelsville, Bobby Harvill, Pearlene Sherrod, Obera Martin, Shirley Ferguson, Doris Easley and Sherry Moore, all of Columbus, Edward Jones, of Leaksville; sisters, Josephine Thomas, of Bham, Ala., Fannie Shephard, of Harford, Conn., Golinda Watts, of Waynesboro, S.C.; brothers, Jerry Gordon and Authur Gordon, both of Mapleville, Ala., Henry A. Gordon, of Harford, James Gordon, of Jones, Ala., Charles Gordon, of Selma, Ala.; 27 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers are Gregory Pruitt, Frank Jones, Jamarel Jones, Alandrew Jones, Robbion Wiley and Terell Jones.
