CALEDONIA — Peggy Ann Walker, 64, died Dec. 19, 2012, at Greenwood Leflore AMG Specialty Hospital. Services are Saturday at noon at Military Chapel UM Church with Antra Geeter officiating. Burial will follow in Sturdivant Cemetery. Visitation is today from 3-8 p.m. at Carter’s of Columbus. Mrs. Walker was born April 21, 1948, to the late Luther Durrah and Gertrude Burton. She retired as an inspector from Red Kap Industries. She was a 1969 graduate of R.E. hunt High School and a member of Military Chapel UM Church. Survivors include her husband, William T. Walker Sr., of Caledonia; children, William T. Walker Jr., of Greenwood, Timbree Miller of Clarksdale and Dewayne Walker of Fresno, Texas; siblings, Trustee Durrah of Gordo, Ala., Willie E. Durrah of Washington D.C., Lucy Lewis and Rachel Latham, both of Columbus; and seven grandchildren. Pallbearers are Dennis Lewis, Michael Wells Sr., Sam Latham, Laforest Durrah, James Latham Jr., and Norman Latham.
