NOXUBEE — Kendrick Keon Brooks, 34, died July 27, 2021, at the University Medical Center in Jackson.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, at Spring Hill Baptist Church in Macon, with Montreal Rucker officiating. There will be no visitation. Carter’s Funeral Services of Macon is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Brooks was born Jan. 1, 1987, in Noxubee County, to John Lee Brooks and the late Adell McCoy Brooks. He was a member of Spring Hill Baptist Church.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his son, Kamarius Brooks.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his children, NaKendra Brooks, Kendrick Brooks Jr., Klydrick Brooks, Ka’Miracle Brooks and Karlee Brooks; step-mother, Shivon Brooks; and siblings, Andrew Brooks, Jerome Brooks, Tiffany Slaughter and Angela Tate Edwards.
