MACON — Dorothy Moore, 63, died April 28, 2018, in Memphis, Tennessee. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul M.B. Church in Macon with Rev. Joe Nathan Rice officiating. Burial will follow in Oddfellows Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12-6 p.m. today at Carter’s Funeral Service of Macon. Carter’s Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Moore was born Jan. 15, 1955, in Noxubee County, to the late Earnest and Zan Bland. She was retired from Sanderson & Plumbing and a member of St. Paul M.B. Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Earnest George Bland. She is survived by her children, Anthony Malone of Memphis and Willie Malone of Macon; siblings, Betty Beasley, Earnestine Mickens, Ada Edwards, Rye Weston and Earnest Bland, Jr., all of Macon and Annie Bryant of Port Arthur, Texas; and four grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Tony Malone, Derrick Williford, Ralph Henley, Dekendrick Bland, Chadwick Windham and Andrew McFarland.
