MILLPORT, Ala. — Cynthia Kay Bishop, 70, died March 30, 2022, at her residence.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, at Memorial Gunter Peel Funeral Home, with Robert Gillis officiating. Burial will follow at Springhill Cemetery. Visitation will be two hours prior to services at the funeral home. Memorial Gunter Peel Funeral Home and Crematory of Columbus is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Bishop was born April 1, 1951, in Columbus, to Peggy Sansing Vaughn and the late James H. Wright.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her son, Jason Bishop; and step-brother, Joe Vaughn.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her son, Victor Gibson of Oxford; sisters, Peggy Jean Young and Suzette Durdahl; step-sisters, Judy Harrison and Sheila Dykes; step-brother, Brad Vaughn; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Caleb Morrison, Blake Owens, Brad Vaughn, Allen Brazzell and Bobby Wright.
