An one-car accident on Highway 14 in Noxubee County killed one person Wednesday afternoon.
Jaqueline Yates, 35, of Macon, was driving a black 1996 Ford Explorer when she lost control and her vehicle left the road. Yates was pronounced dead on the scene by the Noxubee County Coroner.
It is unknown if Yates was wearing a seat belt. The crash is under investigation by the Mississippi Highway Safety Patrol.
