WEST POINT – West Point police are investigating a Tuesday shooting that happened on East Morrow Street.
The shooting occurred at about 5:30 p.m. on East Morrow Street and no one was injured, Chief Michael Edwards said in a press release issued Wednesday.
The investigation is ongoing and the department will be seeking assistance from the public in identifying the suspects in the shooting, Edwards said in the press release.
“We are working all leads and parties will be charged accordingly to the law,” Edwards said in the press release.
The press release did not clarify whether the shooting resulted in any property damage, if any arrests have been made or if the police department has any leads on the investigation. When reached by The Dispatch on Wednesday, Edwards said he could not provide further information by press time.
