Golden Triangle Theatre will bring “The Sound of Music” to Columbus, at the Seventh Street Centre. Priority seating is $40 for adults, $25 for children; general admission is $30 for adults, $15 for children.

Starkville
Starkville Area Arts Council will host the “Forces of Nature” art market and exhibit from 2 to 6 p.m. at 122 East Main St. The event is free to attend.

Bobby Rush will perform at the Columbus Arts Council’s Omnova Theater. Tickets are $20.

Columbus
The Cruisin’ the River car show will be from 8 a.m. to noon at the Lock and Dam east bank. The event is free to attend for the public.

The summer Burns Bottom Arts Festival will feature a variety of arts and craft and food vendors. Live music will begin at 5 p.m.

Starkville
Rick’s Cafe Jeep Club is hosting an unofficial Jeep Go Topless Day for Jeep owners and enthusiasts at the restaurant. Proceeds benefit the Oktibbeha County Humane Society.
