The Greater Starkville Development Partnership will be hosting unTapped Downtown, a craft beer tasting and shopping event in downtown Starkville. Check-in starts at 5:30 p.m., while tasting and shopping will be from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Tickets are available online in advance at untappeddowntown.com.

The art collective Starkville DIY is organizing a concert for bands Sonic Voyager, Synchromism and Memorial Bridge in the Starkville Area Arts Council’s lobby. Doors open at 6 p.m. and music starts at 7 p.m. The admission fee is $10.

New Hope
New Hope Strong is organizing a festival around the New Hope High School. On Friday, there will be a movie night showing “The Greatest Showman,” with seating opening at 6 p.m. and the movie starting at 7:30 p.m. On Saturday, there will be a food, arts and crafts fair and a car show from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Rise STK is hosting a Pickleball and Prosecco event at McKee Park starting at 9 a.m. Anyone between the ages of 21-40 who lives and works in the Starkville area is invited to come, sip and network with others.

The Preservation Society of Columbus is hosting a Masquerade Gala at 7 p.m. at Colonnade, 620 2nd Street South. Masks are encouraged but not required. Tickets are $100 per person and are available online at givebutter.com/PrrzRd.

The Starkville-MSU Symphony Orchestra and the Starkville Symphony Chorus will be performing in Bettersworth Auditorium in Lee Hall on the Mississippi State University campus at 7:30 p.m. Admission is free and the event is open to the public.

West Point
The Black Prairie Blues Museum is hosting a Women in Blues event at 6:30 p.m. Mississippi State University Opera Singers and the band XYZ will be performing songs by classic female blues musicians while also giving short presentations on each famous blues artist. The showcase will be in the blues museum at 640 Commerce Street.
