Jimmy Redd will be performing in the Main Street Breezeway downtown. Visitors will be able to enjoy live music as they eat and shop.

Musician J.D. Spencer will be performing both originals and covers at Munson and Brothers Trading Post, 301 2nd Ave N.

Starkville
The Golden Triangle Kennel Club of Mississippi is hosting its annual licensed conformation shows, obedience and rally trials at the Mississippi Horse Park. Admission is free to watch elite breeds compete on both days.

Columbus
Zachary’s will be hosting a St. Patrick’s Day “Pawty” benefiting the Columbus Lowndes Humane Society. For a $20 donation, attendees will be able to enjoy green beer, food provided by Hogg Ugly and music by the Disco Stranglers, an Eagles tribute band.
Sunday, March 17 @ 3 p.m.
West Point
The Clay County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. will be hosting a reenactment of the women’s suffrage march in downtown West Point. The march will begin at the USPS location on Commerce Street. Participants are asked to dress for the occasion in garb that would have been worn on March 3, 1913. Signs on issues affecting women are encouraged. In case of rain, the event will be canceled.
