Starkville
The Starkville Rotary Club is hosting its annual Rotary Classic Rodeo at the MS Horse Park on Friday and Saturday. Action begins each night at 7 p.m. There will also be pony rides and a petting zoo from 5-6:30 p.m. on Saturday. Adult tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door.
Saturday, Feb. 10
Starkville
The Mississippi State University Department of Museums and Galleries is hosting a science night at Hilbun Hall and the Cobb Institute from 4-7 p.m. Following the event, there will be movies shown in Harned Hall Room 102 from 7-10 p.m. including “Jurassic Park Dominion” and “Treetender II: Conserving the Tree of Life.”

Starkville
Chick-fil-A Starkville is hosting a Daddy-Daughter Date Night from 5-8 p.m. at The GAthering, 1437 Fire Station Road. The theme is “A Sweetheart’s Dance.” The evening will include a red carpet, a photo area, a buffet dinner, dancing, table activities and more. Tickets are $25 for one father and one child, plus $10 per additional child.
Stephen D. Lee Valentine’s Fundraiser

The West Point Clay County Arts Council will be hosting an opening reception for its art exhibit featuring the work of Boone Antonio Lairy at the Louise Campbell Center for the Arts. There will be a gallery talk at 2:15 p.m. with a reception following.

The Mississippi State University campus, concert and symphonic bands will be putting on their first concert for the spring semester in Lee Hall, with Craig Aarhus and Clifton Taylor as conductors. There is no admission charge.
