Starkville
Starkville Community Theatre is putting on performances of the Kate Hamill stage adaptation of the classic novel “Little Women” by Louisa May Alcott. Performances will be at 7 p.m. Dec. 8 and at 2 p.m. Dec. 9.
Suntitle, It’s Only Us and Synchromism

Starkville
The Starkville Area Arts Council is hosting a concert in its Main Street lobby, organized by Starkville DIY including three local bands: Suntitle, It’s Only Us and Synchromism. Admission is $10. Doors open at 6 p.m. Music starts at 7 p.m.

Starkville
Nine-twentynine coffee bar is hosting its annual artist market including 27 artisans, from 5-8 p.m. There will be soup, craft beer, and baked goods available for purchase, along with textile artists, print makers, ceramicists, needleworkers, painters and more. The market is free to attend.
Columbus Girlchoir Christmas Concert
Sunday, Dec. 10 @ 3 p.m.
Columbus
The Columbus Girlchoir is holding a Christmas concert featuring carols and other songs in the Arts Fellowship Hall of the Fletcher-Jones building of First Methodist Church. This event is free and open to the public.

The Mississippi State University Music Teachers National Association Chapter will be holding a Christmas Benefit Concert in the Lecture Recital Hall of the Music Building at 124 Hardy Road as a fundraiser for the group.

Columbus
The Columbus Christmas Parade will be returning downtown, with road closures occurring from 3-4 p.m. This year’s theme is “A Classic Christmas” and the parade will feature the Budweiser Clydesdales. Nora Miller, president of Mississippi University for Women, will be the parade’s grand marshal.
