Little Sturgis Motorcycle Rally

Sturgis
The Little Sturgis Motorcycle Rally will be held at Diane Jackson Memorial Park, with $10 admission for the weekend. This will include car shows, bike shows, charity rides, live music and more.
Friday, Aug. 18 @ 8 p.m.
Starkville
U.S. Band will perform at Rick’s Cafe, 319B MS-182. Tickets are $12 and can be purchased at rickscafe.net.
Friday, Aug. 18 @ 9 p.m.
Starkville
The bands Parrot Weather, Hartle Road and Gulf will perform at Dave’s Dark Horse Tavern, 410 Dr Martin Luther King Jr Dr E. Tickets are $10.
Saturday, Aug. 19
Starkville
The Starkville Disc Golf Association has organized a 1-day PDGA sanctioned tournament at the Mississippi State University Wise Center Disc Golf Course. Entry fees range from $45 to $55 based on player division and PDGA membership. Check-in starts at 7:30 a.m. and awards and prizes end at 5 p.m.
Saturday, Aug. 19
Starkville
Restaurant Tyler is hosting a benefit to support Bryan Spencer through his fight with cancer from 6-9 p.m. Heavy hors d’oeuvres from chefs throughout the region will be served. There will also be live music and a silent auction. Tickets are $75 and all proceeds will go toward Spencer’s expenses.
Sunday, Aug. 20
Columbus
Zachary’s will be hosting a to-go catfish plate fundraiser to help support Kaptain Edge, who was recently injured in an accident on the way home from school. Plates will be $12 and will be served from 11 a.m.-3 p.m.

TASTE Italian Kitchen will be hosting a fundraiser for the Oktibbeha County Humane Society, where all food proceeds will be donated to four-legged friends in need from 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Dogs will be present for adoption from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. and from 5-7 p.m.
