Lowndes County elected officials and employees will be hosting a picnic on the lawn behind the county courthouse at 505 2nd Avenue North from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The picnic will feature live music by Keith and Margie Brown with county exhibits.

Music Makers Productions is hosting the Old Main Music Festival at the MSU Amphitheater, complete with a local stage, an art market, food vendors and more. Headliner Briston Maroney will be performing at 9 p.m. For more information on other musical acts, go to msuconcerts.org.

The Sudduth Elementary PTO will be hosting a Touch a Truck event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. featuring emergency response vehicles and other large trucks. Quiet hours are from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tickets are $5 per child and are available at the event. Children under one year of age are admitted free.

The Frank P. Phillips YMCA is hosting a block party celebrating its 100th anniversary from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be games, face painting, bounce houses, sports tournaments, food and more on Second Avenue between Sixth and Seventh streets.

The 19th annual Del Rendon Music and Art Festival will be returning to Dave’s Dark Horse Tavern starting at 2:30 p.m. There will be 15 musical acts and an artist village, where art vendors will be selling their work. All proceeds go back to supporting artists and musicians in the Golden Triangle Region.
