Two armed men robbed Wendy”s Restaurant on Highway 45 in Columbus around 7:30 a.m. today.
Columbus Police Department reported the men fled the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. They ran behind Subway Restaurant where police suspect a car was waiting.
Both men were described as black, dressed in black clothing and wearing baseball caps with bandanas covering their faces. One of the men had dreadlocks.
Employees reported at least one of the men had a revolver.
The CPD canvassed the immediate area but apprehended no suspects. They are currently following up several leads after questioning Wendy”s employees and witnesses.
