Three juveniles have been arrested following a Wednesday shooting in the area of 18th Street and Seventh Avenue North.
Columbus Police Department officers responded at about 7:13 p.m. to a shots-fired call, a press release from CPD Public Information Officer Bryan Moore said.
When officers arrived at the scene, witnesses pointed them toward the gunfire. An officer saw two juveniles run into a house at the 800 block of 21st Street North, the release said.
After further investigation, three juveniles were arrested and charged with discharging a firearm in city limits and minor in possession of a weapon.
Moore told The Dispatch the three juveniles were shooting at someone who was also firing back at them, but no injuries or property damage were reported in connection with the shooting.
