A Starkville man was arrested Friday night after allegedly stealing a vehicle on Long Street and then burglarizing an apartment on Louisville Street.
Draper Manning, 42, has been charged with residential burglary, grand larceny of a motor vehicle and disorderly conduct, according to a press release from the Starkville Police Department.
Manning allegedly burglarized the apartment while the residents were still inside. He and the victims knew each other prior to the incidents. Manning was arrested on Long Street after fleeing on foot from officers, the release said.
Manning was taken to the Oktibbeha County Jail following the arrest.
