- The Dispatch offices will be closed Monday. There will be no Monday paper and all operations will resume Tuesday at 8 a.m.
- Banks, government: All local banks will be closed on Monday and county government offices will also be closed.
- Schools, services: The Starkville Public Library, the Starkville Electric Department, 4-County Electric Power Association, Mississippi State University, East Mississippi Community College and area school districts will be closed Monday.
- Trash, mail: Trash pickups will resume Tuesday. Post offices will be closed Monday and mail delivery will resume Tuesday.
- Columbus Air Force Base: Most offices will be closed or have reduced hours Friday and Monday. The Base Exchange will be open Friday from 9a.m.-6 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m.-6 p.m., closed Sunday and open Monday from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. The Commissary will be open Friday and Saturday and will be closed Sunday and Monday.
