A Columbus man wanted in connection to a Sunday night shooting at Sim Scott Park is in police custody.
Kevinunte Hudgins, 20, who also goes by Stikky, is charged with aggravated assault. Hudgins turned himself in just after noon Tuesday.
Police responded at about 7:20 p.m. Sunday to the Sim Scott Park on 18th Street North, where a 911 caller reported gunfire.
Columbus Police Department Public Information Officer Bryan Moore said Hudgins was walking near Sim Scott Park when the shots were fired. There were no injuries or damage reported, he said.
The investigation remains open and more arrests may follow, a CPD press release said. Anyone with information on the case can contact CPD or leave an anonymous tip with Golden Triangle Crime Stoppers at (800) 530-7151. Crime Stoppers may offer a cash reward.
