The Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help finding four people who broke into the Caledonia Pharmacy early Thursday morning.
Around 1:30 a.m. a car pulled up to the pharmacy, located at 741 Main Street, and broke a window with a brick, Sheriff Eddie Hawkins said.
“It was a smash and grab,” he said. “They were in and out in less than two minutes.”
Hawkins said he wasn’t sure how much merchandise the thieves made off with, but they didn’t get any controlled substances.
“The narcotics were locked up,” Hawkins said.
The foursome were masked and gloved, Hawkins said, and will be difficult to identify.
Anyone with knowledge of this case or any additional information is asked to contact Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office at 662-328-6788 or call Golden Triangle Crime Stoppers at 800-530-7151. Tips can also be submitted via the P3 Tips smartphone app.
Tipsters will remain anonymous, and are eligible for a cash reward if the information leads to an arrest.
