STARKVILLE — One person has been killed and another critically injured in a shooting Wednesday evening outside a Pilcher Street apartment complex.
Starkville Police Department received reports on the incident around 5 p.m. When officers arrived, one victim was still on the scene and the other had been taken to the hospital, according to SPD Public Information Officer Brandon Lovelady.
Lovelady said SPD is in the early stages of investigating the incident, and no suspects have been arrested.
