Columbus Police Department has made an arrest in an April 14 shooting that left two men injured, and they are looking for a second suspect.
Dustin Wells, 24, was charged Wednesday with two counts of aggravated assault, CPD Public Information Officer Bryan Moore said.
CPD is also looking for Malachi Clay, 22, in connection to the shooting, with warrants out for two counts of aggravated assault.
The shooting took place at the 1300 block of 15th Street South and two men, an 81-year-old and a 21-year-old, were hit in the shoulder, a CPD press release said. Both victims were treated at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle and released.
Wells is being held in Lowndes County Adult Detention Center. His bond is set at $500,000.
