The vacant building on Highway 12 didn’t stay vacant long.
Starkvegas Bar and Grill, 211 Hwy. 12, takes the place of the former Mexican restaurant Guadalajara which closed in August.
Stephen Ellis of Starkville is listed as the registered agent and manager of the bar and grill on the Mississippi Secretary of State webpage.
I could not reach the owner by press time on Wednesday, but the Instagram account notes that the bar and grill had its soft opening Oct. 31.
