The Starkville Police Department arrested and charged a 24-year-old Maben man with statutory rape Saturday.
Zachary Lydon Townsel, of 51 Cooper Drive, was arrested at approximately 11:52 p.m., according to SPD.
He was scheduled to appear before Starkville Municipal Court Judge Rodney Faver on Monday, where his bond was to be set.
SPD released no further information about the arrest.
