The Lowndes County Health Department, located at 801 N. Lehmberg Road, will be closed Wednesday for staff training.
The training is a standard exercise required by the Mississippi Department of Health to ensure emergency readiness, MSDH Communications Director Liz Sharlot said Saturday.
Individuals in need of services are encouraged to visit an alternate location. The Oktibbeha, Noxubee and Clay County health departments will be open as usual Wednesday.
