WEST POINT – North Mississippi Medical Center-West Point recently added the next generation of advanced robot-assisted surgical technology with the da Vinci Xi Surgical System.
Surgeons at NMMC-West Point have already performed more than 600 general and gynecologic procedures with da Vinci Si robotic-assisted surgical system. The new da Vinci Xi platform provides even more capability with the advanced technology, making surgery safer and more efficient.
Benefits of the da Vinci Xi platform include greater precision with the use of robotic instruments, a minimally invasive approach which enables smaller incisions and enhanced vision with endoscope technology, which allows surgeons to see inside the body with greater clarity. These advancements result in less pain, lower infection risk, and faster recovery times.
