TUPELO – Several area residents from Itawamba Community College’s Surgical Technology program received their degrees, July 11, at the Health Science Education Center at the Tupelo Campus.
Jada Glasgow, of Caledonia, was among the recent graduates.
ICC’s Surgical Technology program courses equal one year (three semesters). The goal is to prepare entry-level surgical technologists who are competent in the cognitive, psychomotor and affective learning domains to enter the profession. Surgical technologists are allied health professionals who are an integral part of the team of medical practitioners providing surgical care to patients in a variety of settings.
