Local students named to Samford Dean’s List
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Three local students were among more than 2,575 named to the Samford University Dean’s List for the fall 2025 semester.
Those students include Ellison Mowrey, of Caledonia, Walker Moore and William Free, both of Starkville.
To qualify, a student must have a minimum 3.5 GPA out of a possible 4.0 while attempting at least 12 credit hours of coursework. The list is the highest academic recognition given by the school at the end of each semester.
Young named to Central Arkansas Dean’s List
CONWAY, Ark. – Cameron Young, of West Point, was named to the University of Central Arkansas Dean’s List for the fall 2025 semester.
Young was among more than 1,600 students named to the fall 2025 Dean’s List.
Eligibility requires at least a 3.5 GPA with a minimum course load of 12 credit hours.
UCA announces December 2025 graduates
CONWAY, Ark. – Two local students were among approximately 700 students to receive a degree last month during University of Central Arkansas’ December commencement ceremonies.
Both John-Wesley Jackson, of Columbus, and Jacoby McQuiller, of West Point, graduated with a bachelor’s degree in family and consumer science.
