Everyone involved in an early Wednesday morning accident between a Head Start bus and another vehicle walked away with no injuries.
Public Information Officer Bryan Moore said Columbus Police Department responded to the accident at about 8:03 a.m. at the intersection of 23rd Street South and College Street.
Moore said the Institute for Community Services Head Start bus was traveling through the intersection when the other vehicle ran a stop sign and collided with the bus.
All of the 12 students on the bus during the accident were taken to Baptist Memorial Hospital- Golden Triangle for evaluation, but no injuries were reported.
Moore said the collision is believed to be an accident, and there were no indications of impairment with either driver. The driver of the vehicle was issued a citation for running the stop sign.
