One man is dead after a Friday night motorcycle wreck on Highway 69.
Antonio Pierre Harris, 43, of Columbus, was killed after his Suzuki motorcycle collided with a Toyota car at about 10:30 p.m. at the intersection of Datco Industrial Drive and Highway 69, Lowndes County Coroner Greg Merchant told The Dispatch on Saturday.
Both vehicles were traveling south on Highway 69 when Harris passed and moved in front of the car, leading to what appears to be an accidental collision, Merchant said.
There were no passengers in the other vehicle, and no other injuries were reported.
Mississippi Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
