Clay County Sheriff’s Office is searching for an suspect in an attempted murder and kidnapping.
Kevon Tucker, 28, is believed to be the ringleader of a multiple-suspect shooting, Sheriff Eddie Scott told The Dispatch this morning. Tucker, along with several others, kidnapped a male victim, taking him to several different locations and shooting him multiple times. The victim was found Aug. 10 on Highway 47 in the northern part of Clay County.
Scott said no other suspects have been named, but he believes if deputies can find Tucker, they can identify others.
“Right now he’s our common denominator, so we’re trying to get our hands on him,” Scott said.
The victim is in stable condition, Scott said.
