CLAY COUNTY — Deputies are searching for two men with outstanding warrants related to sex crimes, according to officials from the Clay County Sheriff’s Office.
Purnell McGee, 59, of Starkville, is wanted on one count of sexual battery. The charge stems from an incident in March 2022.
Tevin Jamal Gates, 34, of Okolona, is wanted on six counts of secret photography for lewd purposes. The charges stemmed from incidents in December 2019.
Sheriff Eddie Scott told The Dispatch the West Point Police Department initially arrested both men, but the sheriff’s department is seeking public support to serve their warrants.
