Vibrant Church will not be pressing charges against the man accused of vandalizing the building on Sunday, Columbus Police Department Public Information Officer Bryan Moore told The Dispatch.
A felony warrant was issued for Mason Cline’s arrest in the case, and CPD requested the public’s help in locating him in a Facebook post made Wednesday.
Moore said officers located and arrested Cline, but he was released from custody after church officials decided not to press charges.
CPD responded to the church just before 8 p.m. on Sunday, where officers found “God is dead” spray-painted on an exterior wall of the building.
