Brooks named Realtor of the Year
Teresa Brooks was selected as 2011 Realtor of the Year by the Golden Triangle Association of Realtors. The announcement was made at the Aug. 10 membership luncheon at Columbus Country Club.
Realtor of the Year is the highest honor that the association can bestow upon one of its members.
Brooks received her real estate license in 1991 and earned her broker”s license in 1994. She joined Prudential Starkville Properties in 2002 as a broker associate. She has received Prudential”s top award, “Chairman”s Circle Gold” for the past eight years for outstanding production, as well as being recognized four consecutive years for sales production in The Wall Street Journal as one of the Top Prudential Agents nationwide.
Harper joins Renasant
Bobby Harper has joined Renasant as a senior vice president and business development officer. Prior to joining Renasant, Harper served more than 40 years as an executive banker in the Golden Triangle region. He received his bachelor”s degree in business administration from Delta State University and attended the Graduate School of Banking at LSU.
Harper serves as a trustee of the Franks Phillips Y, as a Rotarian and Paul Harris Fellow and as a Board Member of the Golden Triangle Regional Airport. He is also past president of the Columbus Air Force Base-Community Council, a recipient of the Mississippi University for Women Medal of Excellence (2005) and the Exchange Club”s Book of Golden Deeds Award.
Harper and his wife, Jo, have a son, Lane, and a daughter, Neely Hudnall, and three grandchildren. They are members of St. Paul”s Episcopal Church in Columbus.
