JACKSON — Republican Gov.-elect Phil Bryant has chosen “Rising Together” as the theme for his Jan. 10 inauguration.
Bryant will be sworn in as Mississippi’s 64th governor at noon at the state Capitol on Jan. 10. That will be followed with a parade in downtown Jackson.
Bryant will follow that with an inaugural ball at the Jackson Convention Complex. Tickets are $50 per person or $100 a couple.
The chairmen of Bryant’s inaugural committee are former U.S. Sen. Trent Lott, Don Halle of Gulf Construction Co. and Rita Wray of the Mississippi Department of Finance and Administration.
