The following arrests were reported by the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office and Columbus Police Department:
Jerry Lee Henley, 50, of 100 W. Jess Lyons Road, Lot 9, was arrested by MHP July 20 and charged with felony simple assault on a police officer, driving under the influence, refusal to take test, no insurance, seatbelt violation and disobeying a traffic control device. He has not been released. His court date is scheduled for Aug. 14.
Mark Anthony Johnson, 19, of 216 Billy Kidd Road in Steens, was arrested by LCSO July 19 and charged with domestic violence. He has not been released. His court date is scheduled for Aug. 28.
Anthony Montay Walker, 33, of 2203 Fourth Ave. S., was arrested by MHP July 22 and charged with driving with a suspended drivers license, seatbelt violation, no inspection sticker and felony false pretense. He has not been released. His court date is scheduled for Aug. 7.
Joshua O’Bryan Wilson, 21, of 186 Lehmberg Road, Apt. D30, was arrested by CPD and charged with driving under the influence. Bond is set at $1,009. He has not been released. His court date is scheduled for Aug. 15.
Sierra Luekeyshe Winston, 25, of 208 Allison Hardy Road, was arrested by LCSO July 23 and charged with felony malicious mischief. She has not been released.
Frederick Lashawn Brownlee, 37, of 866 Hairston Bend Road, was arrested by MDOC July 23 and charged with possession of cocaine and violation of probation. He has not been released.
Joel Dudley Jones, 21, of 413 Springdale Drive, was arrested by CPD July 23 and charged with cyberstalking-email/communication to extort. He has not been released.
