The following arrests were reported by the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Department and the Columbus Police Department:

  • Matthew Cenquis Hill, 23, of 2505 Fourth Ave. N., was arrested at his residence by LCSO Oct. 14 and charged with aggravated assault on a police/fire/school official with a weapon.
  • Mary Lee Jones, 31, of 1104 22nd St. S., was arrested at 247 William Roberts Road Apt. 560, by CPD Oct. 15 and charged with felony malicious mischief. She was released the same day on a $2,500 bond. Her court date is scheduled for Dec. 19.
  • Shanequa Charmaine Latham, 22, of 247 William Roberts Road Apt. 560, was arrested at her residence by CPD Oct. 15 and charged with felony malicious mischief. She was released the same day on a $2,500 bond. Her court date is scheduled for Dec. 19.
  • Roy Erby Wallace Jr., 34, of 1602 Third Ave. S., was arrested at the MDOC office Oct. 15 and charged with violation of probation.
  • Leronn Klayshay Gregory, 22, of 608 Chestnut St., was arrested by CPD Oct. 15 and charged with aggravated assault with a weapon or other means to produce death.
