STARKVILLE – Four suspects, including a juvenile, face charges after they were arrested early Sunday morning for burglarizing vehicles at The Pines Manufactured Home and RV Community at 1000 Louisville St.
Shy Pittman, 18, of Starkville; Montrikius Idom, 18, of Louisville; Jermarium Yates, 19, of Louisville; and an unnamed 16-year-old juvenile are each charged with eight counts of auto burglary, according to a Starkville Police Department press release. Pittman and Idom each face a stolen firearm possession count, while Pittman also racked up a count each of possession of a controlled substance and disorderly conduct.
The juvenile, who will be processed in Youth Court, also was charged with a curfew violation.
Officers responded at about 1:47 a.m. to reports of auto burglary at The Pines. They set up a perimeter, caught all four suspects and recovered the firearms, both of which were reported stolen from Louisville.
